This camera is 21.9 mm thick, and with dimensions of 99.0 x 58.9 x 21.9mm and a weight of 206g. A 3.2 " LCD screen allows for framing, reviewing and sharing images.

The easy-to-use touch-screen display enables intuitive control of numerous camera functions. When shooting, Touch AF enables you to track focus on a subject simply by touching the screen, while easily selectable icons allow changes to the shooting mode, flash settings and exposure. Reviewing images is a breeze - simply drag a finger across the screen to flick through your shots. With Touch Actions, you can quickly access various playback functions via simple on-screen gestures.

Picture Quality and Lens

With 12.1 megapixels you can get a 10x13 inch print at full resolution with greater enlargement possible to achieve high quality Banner size prints. The 12 times lens has a 35mm film equivalent focal length range of  28-336mm, which will give you a perspective from Extra wide angle to Full telephoto for Large groups and landscapes to Very Creative portraits and distant landmarks of interest. It also has a 4 times digital zoom and is also capable of a high 3200 ISO for better lowlight photography.

Canon’s DIGIC 4 processor drives fast processing speeds, responsive operation, superb image quality and colour reproduction. Richly detailed, cleaner images, even at high ISO speeds, are the result of advanced Noise Reduction.

Key Features

Simple Hints & Tips interface messages offer step-by-step menu guidance making it easy to understand camera features and settings.

Face Detection detects up to 35 faces in a shot and adjusts focus, exposure, flash settings and white balance – for optimal results with natural-looking skin tones. FaceSelf-Timer allows you to take group photos, with you in it, easily by taking the shot when your  face enters the frame.

i-Contrast solves difficult lighting situations where you have extremely bright and dark areas appearing in the same image by brightening up dark areas while keeping the bright parts as they are.

This port lets you connect to HDMI compatible HD TVs to view images in high definition quality.
