Design and Ergonomics

This camera is 30.4mm thick, and with dimensions of 102.4 x 64.0 x 30.4mm and a weight of 186g it will slip into a tight pocket with ease.  A 3.0" LCD screen allows for framing, reviewing and sharing images.

Picture Quality and Lens

With 16 megapixels you can get a 11x14 with room for cropping print at full resolution with greater enlargement possible to achieve high quality banner size prints. The 12.5 times lens has a 35mm film equivalent focal length range of  24 – 300mm, which will give you a perspective from Extra wide angle to Full telephoto for large groups and landscapes to Very Creative portraits and distant landmarks of interest. It also has a 4 times digital zoom and is also capable of a high 1600 ISO for better lowlight photography.

TruePic image processor

The TruePic image processor creates images with higher resolution and higher contrast and offers excellent colour reproduction as well as enhanced image processing  speeds and camera operation.

Key Features

Dual image stabilisation eliminates image blur due to camera shake caused by slow shutter speeds and long focal distances using both optical and electronic image stabilisation. Electronic stabilisation combines a high ISO and fast shutter speeds.

With the focus tracking function you can capture in-focus images even with fast moving subjects. You can simply point and shoot the camera at a moving subject and it will automatically adjust focus and exposure.

The art filters enable special artistic effects to be created directly in-camera. Choose from 6 art filters  -Pop Art, Soft Focus, Pale and Light Colour, Light Tone, Grainy Film or Pin Hole.

The Magic filter feature offers great re-worked images without image editing knowledge or computer software, like pop art, pin hole, sketch, wedding and fisheye. 

The Face detection technology automatically focuses and optimises exposure on faces for sharp, brilliant portrait pictures

The beauty mode touches up the appearance of faces in-camera either while the shot is being taken or afterwards, making skin on the face appear smoother, brighter and more youthful.

The In-Camera Panorama features scans and captures each scene just as you see it and can create landscape scenes covering a field of approximately 130°. Simply move the camera in accordance with the on-screen guide and the panoramic shot is created automatically.

The HD movie mode allows you to capture movies with sound at a good quality 9  frames per second at 4,608 x 3456 pixel resolution. The zoom can also be used while capturing video.
