Ergonomics and Design

This camera is comfortably compact at only 26.1mm thick, and with dimensions of 89.5mm x 61mm and a weight of 118g the user can easily always have the camera at hand. The metal body is flat with smoothly bevelled edges that won’t snag on anything. A 2.4" LCD screen helps you pick the right settings with clear on-screen icons and simple menus.

Picture quality and lens

With a 10.1 megapixel sensor, the user can enlarge prints substantially, and crop them as much as they like without compromising detail. Scenes are effortlessly brought closer with the 3x optical zoom and an additional 6x digital zoom magnification. Fantastic light sensitivity of up to 3200 ISO gives the user clear images without even using the flash in low light conditions. 

Key features

To help amateurs get professional looking shots, or even just for somebody who needs to take a picture quickly, there are 7 different preset scene selection modes, as well as facial recognition technology that automatically focuses on human faces in view for better portraits. SteadyShot image stabilisation reduces image blur during handheld shooting for crisper results. For post-editing purposes there are some handy in-camera retouching functions, such as image trim and red-eye correction, along with the supplied Picture Motion browser software which simplifies image management, searches and viewing on PC.
