The Leica Ultravid 10x42 HD binocular is one of the upgraded version of the Ultravid models, incorporating high definition optics and is an all-round, versatile binocular recommended for a range of applications from birding to hunting.

Build and Ergonomics

The 10x42 HD binocular has a light weight (750g) magnesium and titaniuim construction and is protected by shock absorbing rubber armouring for enhanced protection. The formed thumb supports on the rear ensure that the binoculars fit in your hands without slipping, while the large central focusing device enables relaxed, natural handling. It also features adjustable eyecups to accommodate most users.

The lenses are coated in Leica’s AquaDura waterproof coating, forcing rain drops to simply slide off. Because the Ultravid 10 x 42’s are fully sealed and nitrogen purged, they can withstand water pressures of up to 5m, and are fog proof.

The of new fluoride glass enhances color fidelity and contrast of images is further improved, while the calcium fluoride a mineral in the lens creates a very low level of dispersion and significantly improves colour aberration for a more natural and impressive view.
