Design and Ergonomics

The Simple-to-use Sony DCR-HC56 handycam weighs 390g, and has Dimensions of 63 x 85 x 115mm

Recording System

Mini-DV cassette is still the highest quality system amongst current consumer recording options providing a 25Mbps combination of audio and video stream. Mini-DV tapes are typically provide 60 minutes normal play recording and 90 minutes long play and are easy to archive. Your recordings will still have to be captured to PC and possibly edited before creating DVDs.
