The most affordable in the NexStar series, the 60 SLT features a 60mm aperture, 700mm focal length and comes with a fully computerized hand control with a database of over 4,000 celestial objects. With its pre-assembled, adjustable steel tripod, the NexStar 60 SLT can be set up quickly and easily.
With a highest useful magnification of 142x, the Nexstar 60 SLT is best suited for celestial observation at low power or terrestrial viewing, but is not recommended for long exposure photography.
