Its Super Multi Coating reduces flare and ghosting, and incorporates a Dual-Focus mechanism and two aspherical lens elements to minimize distortion, chromatic aberration and astigmatism.

This large aperture 30mm F1.4 EX DC HSM lens is designed for APS-C size image sensors of digital SLR cameras and features two SLD glass elements to reduce chromatic aberration as well as glass mould aspherical lens for high-quality images.

Its 30mm focal length makes it a standard wide to normal view to cover your basic photography needs, like snapshots and small group shots.
