The Macro 50mm F2.8 EX DG is a high quality, standard DSLR lens that incorporates a new design to effectively correct colour aberration and visual distortion. A true macro with a magnification ratio of 1:1, this lens is specially coated to prevent flare and ghosting and its fast aperture makes it ideal for lowlight shooting conditions

The fast aperture of the MACRO 105mm F2.8 EX DG lens allows users to shoot in lowlight and natural light conditions, ideal for nature photography, and allows greater working distance between the subject and the lens. The narrow angle of view simplifies backgrounds and creates a shallow depth of field, for easy composition handling and its new lens power layout reduces flare and ghosting and is designed to reduce the influence of harmful light caused by reflections from the digital image sensor.

This medium telephoto macro lens is suitable for taking pictures in all situations from infinity to 1:1 macro, both with natural light conditions or flash.
Its Special Low Dispersion (SLD) lens and two high refractive index SLD lenses provide excellent correction for all types of aberrations Sigma’s super multi-layer lens coating reduces flare and ghosting, and helps create a natural color balance.

This telephoto macro lens enables you to shoot with a magnification ratio of up to 1:1, and its large F2.8 aperture makes it an ideal lens for lowlight shooting conditions and sports, action and indoor photography. The Two Special Low Dispersion (SLD) glass elements control various color aberrations and the Super Multi Coating combats flare and ghosting.
Powered with an HSM, this lens has an ultra quiet high-speed autofocusing as well as full-time manual focus override.
It is also possible to use this lens with Sigma 1.4x EX and 2x EX APO Tele-Converter. When this lens is used with the 1.4x EX or 2x EX Apo Tele Converters (optional), it becomes a 210mm F4 AF tele-macro lens or a 300mm F5.6 MF tele-macro lens respectively. 

The 180mm F3.5 APO MACRO lens has a very narrow field of view for producing high quality images both of macro subjects at life-size reproduction, as well as normal telephotography with a magnification range from infinity to 1:1.
The HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) allows quick and precise manual focus, even in auto focus mode and provides high quality optical performance and superior handling and stability and work in conjunction with Special Low Dispersion glass to maintain good correction for Spherical Aberration and Astigmatism.
The 1.4x APO EX tele-converter allows the photographer to use the new SIGMA APO 180mm F3.5 MACRO lens as a 252mm F5 lens while maintaining auto focus function from infinity to 1.2m and when used with the 2x EX tele-converter, the 180mm F3.5 lens becomes a 360mm F7 lens with manual focus function only.
