The Sony A850 features a 24.6-megapixel, 35 mm full-frame CMOS sensor and fast image processing with  new dual BIONZ® processing engines, designed to meet the demands of serious photo enthusiasts and Minolta film SLR users, who've been waiting for a full frame digital body on which to use their existing lenses.

With a body-integrated image stabilization system for a full-frame sensor, the A850 features a bright, clear optical viewfinder with 98% field of view coverage to capture fuller images, and a high resolution 3-inch, LCD screen (921K pixels) on which to review and edit them.

Weighing around 900g with the battery, the A850 incorporates a 9-Point Center Dual Cross AF system and offers high-speed continuous shooting of 24.6 megapixel images at three frames per second

First to have a body-integrated image stabilization system for a full-frame sensor, the A900 features a bright, clear optical viewfinder with 100% field of view coverage to capture fuller images, and a 3-inch, Xtra Fine LCD screen (921K pixels) on which to review and edit them.

Weighing just under 900g with the battery, the A900 incorporates Sony’s newly-developed autofocus system consisting of nine wide-area sensors with 10 assist points for improved tracking of moving subjects and offers high-speed continuous shooting of 24.6 megapixel images at five frames per second.
