Curves and Colours | Photoshop
If you have a photograph where your white balance is not right and you have an unwanted colour cast on the image then curves are a very quick and easy way to fix this.
Open your image in Photoshop.

At the bottom of your layers menu select the half white half black circle - from the menu that appears click ‘Curves’
In the control panel that appears on your screen set the channel to the colour that has tinted your image.

(Curves offers three colours to work with RGB - Red, Green, Blue)
Oranges, reds, pinks etc will be adjusted by selecting Red
Blues, purples, tuquise etc will be adjusted by selected Blue
Yellow, mustards, limes, greens etc will be adjusted by selecting Green.
Lets say your photo is a portrait and our skin tone is much too pink. Select the Red Channel and then click in the middle of the graph and drag the graph line downwards until you are happy with the reduction in red cast on your image.
(If need be: You can then proceed to select the other channels and make further adjustments - pushing them up or down as needed)
Super quick and very easy!
