textureAbstract photography focuses on the photographer being able aware of angles, colours, shapes and textures in the scenes that they are photographing.
These abstract subjects could be in the most obvious places sometimes and other times we have to go hunting for them.

Careful zooming and tactfully angling your camera can render an everyday object completely unrecognizable to the person viewing your photograph.
This makes you the keeper of a secret! The secret of what it is you photographer.

Now you need to think about something else - just because your photograph is about colour, shape or texture - this doesn’t actually mean it has to be abstract.
Picture a white cat, sitting on a white stool, in front of a white wall. This picture would be taken in colour and the photograph is all about colour, even though there is no colour in the image.
another example might be a blue car, photographed on dark blue-grey asphalt, framed by a blue sky. A colour photograph that is made up of only one colour is not as common as you might think. If you notice something like this, don’t miss the opportunity to snap away!

Angles in your picture are a great way to draw the viewer into the image. a winding road that beckons them into the distance or a staircase that ends at a sculpture. Angles that make up shapes of objects, like buildings or vehicles, can also be used to draw attention in a certain direction depending on how they are placed in the frame.
