Capture the Spirit of Football Competition!
As football ignites the atmosphere all over South Africa, the spirit of the beautiful game’s greatest competition happens outside the stadia as much as inside.
Enter the SAcamera Capture the Spirit of Football Competition by making your own short video that best records the festive atmosphere of the fans, the camaraderie and the rivalry of the world in our backyard. Prize for the best video as judged by the SAcamera panel will be a Sony Bloggie MHS-PM5 MPEG 4 video camera sponsored by SAcamera!
You can record your video on your cellphone, video camera, digital cameras or anything you like!
- Entries will be judged according to the following criteria:
- Best captures the spirit the event creates
- Entertainment value
- Creative use of editing
- Should convey a story line or emotion
- Picture quality will not be judged
Competition Rules
Competition runs from 22 June to 21 July 2010.
All entries must be under 3 minutes in length.
No content captured inside football stadia is allowed.
The author of the video clip acknowledges that they have not infringed on any other person’s copyright and that the submitted material is fair use.
The author allows SAcamera the right to publicise and display the winning entry/entries.
The judging of the competition is solely mandated by SAcamera and the judges decision is final.
The winner will be notified by email via YouTube.
How to Enter
1. Login or create an account on YouTube
2. Subscribe to the SAcamera channel
3. Upload your video – title it as “SAcamera Spirit of Football – YOUR NAME”
4. SAcamera will then view your video to see if it meets the guidelines of the competition and then mark it as a favourite.
All favourites will be judged.
